Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan said that the 53-year-old actor committed suicide by hanging himself from his pet dog’s leash. According to the police, he had even gone off his dog just before the alleged suicide. No suicide note has been confirmed so far. So far, it has been known that Basra, who was struggling with stress, was living here with a British woman. Basra, who has worked in films such as Black Friday, Parzania, Jab We Met and Kya Po Chhe, was last seen in the Hotstar TV series Hostages.
Asif, live-in partner detained in McLeodganj for 5 years
The police have started investigating the case by taking the body of Asif. Asif had been living in a rented house in McLeodganj with a foreign woman for nearly 5 years. According to reports, the police has taken this woman into custody. The dog with which Asif hangs the noose is missing. SP Vikrant Ranjan has said in his statement that they are investigating from every angle. According to the police, before the alleged suicide, they strolled in the vicinity with their dog and returned. No suicide note has been recovered from them.
