Gaya, 16 November (IANS). Armed Naxalites blew up a community building in Bodhi Bigha village of Dumariya police station area of Naxal-affected Gaya district of Bihar. It is being said that a police station was to be opened in this community building.
A police officer said on Monday that a squad of armed Naxalites arrived in Bodhibigaha village on Sunday night and blew up the community building located there with explosives. It is being told that the building has been completely damaged after this incident. After carrying out the incident, a group of Naxalites left the village, firing at them. No casualties were reported in this incident.
Confirming the incident, Dumariya police station in-charge Vimal Kumar said that the Naxalites have also left a handwritten form in which several warnings have been given while taking responsibility for the incident.
According to police sources, there was a plan to open a police station in this building, due to which the Naxalites have targeted it. Police is conducting a raid operation against Naxalites.
