Lucknow, 17 November (IANS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand on Tuesday and offered prayers.
He was accompanied by his Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Adityanath and Rawat reached Kedarnath on Sunday, but were stuck there on Monday due to heavy snowfall.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is on a two-day visit to the hill state.
Both the Chief Ministers will lay the foundation stone for the UP Tourist Guest House project of Rs 11 crore at Badrinath Dham later in the day.
The proposed 40-room tourist guest house in Joshimath tehsil of Chamoli district will be a green building built in the Garhwal style and is expected to be completed in two years.
Construction of the project on one acre of land is proposed and will have a restaurant, conference hall, dormitory, parking. Here, native and foreign tourists and devotees who come to visit Badrinath Dham will be able to stay.
