New Delhi, 18 November (IANS). In view of their dedication and honesty to a woman havildar (head constable) posted at Samaypur Badli police station in the national capital, Delhi, the high officials have decided to offer an out-of-turn promotion (turn-around promotion).

They have been promoted under the incentive scheme announced by Srivastava. Seema has become the first employee of Delhi Police to get an out-of-turn promotion.

They have traced 76 missing children, of whom 56 are under 14 years old.

These missing children have been traced not only from Delhi, but also from other states such as Punjab and West Bengal.

Anil Mittal, additional PRO of Delhi Police, said reports of the disappearance of these 76 children were lodged from various police stations in Delhi, which were traced by the female head constable Seema Dhaka through efforts made with honesty and hard work in two and a half months.

According to the information received, on August 5 this year, Police Commissioner SN Srivastava encouraged the police camp to find missing children in the capital and hand them over to their parents. During this time, he also promised to progress without any turn to the policemen who completed this work soon.

According to Srivastava’s announcement, a constable or head constable will be given an out-of-turn promotion after finding at least 50 children under 14 years old within a year. Apart from this, the condition was that 15 of these children should be below eight years of age.

This order has brought about a very positive change in the detection of missing children and since August 2020 more and more children have been traced.

As per 2019 data, 3336 out of 5412 missing children have been traced. That is, the Delhi Police has detected 62 percent of the missing children.

A total of 2629 out of 3507 missing children have been traced by Delhi Police till October this year.
