Mumbai, 19 November (IANS) Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has filed a defamation suit of Rs 500 crore against a YouTuber. The reason for this is that YouTube has spread false and baseless news in the name of Akshay Kumar in his videos.

The name of this YouTuber is Rashid Siddiqui, who has dragged Akshay Kumar’s name in Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Siddiqui has been arrested earlier in the Sushant case for allegedly nudging the name of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray and spreading false news.

This YouTuber named Rashid Siddiqui has allegedly used digital media to mislead people by spreading misleading information about some celebrities.

Rashid has been seen taking Akshay Kumar’s name several times in his videos and making false allegations against him. In his video, Rashid claimed that Akshay was unhappy about meeting Sushant, a big film like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and also claimed that he had secret conversations with Aditya Thackeray and the Mumbai Police in the Sushant case.

It is being told that Siddiqui, a civil engineer who hails from Bihar, has been charged with defamation, public misconduct and willful insult.

In his video, Youtube accused Akshay of helping actress Riya Chakraborty flee to Canada. It is believed that Siddiqui earns around Rs 15 lakh every four months, and the number of subscribers has also increased to more than three lakh.
