Digital Desk, Bangalore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched the Bangalore Tech Summit 2020 (BTS 2020) through video conferencing. The Tech Summit will be held from 19 to 21 November. Inaugurating the program, PM Modi said that, we started Digital India Mission five years ago. Today, it is heartening to say that Digital India is no longer seen as an initiative of the government, but has become a way of life for the poor and people in government.

Prime Minister Modi said that while reaching the climax of the Kovid-19 lockdown, quick and proper assistance was ensured to the poor of India through technology. If India is successfully operating the world’s largest healthcare plan, then technology has a major role to play.

Prime Minister Modi said, today, when we are able to help the poor build their homes with an unprecedented scale, speed and transparency, technology has contributed to this. Today, when we are able to provide electricity to almost all homes, technology has played an important role in it.
