Kurnool, November 20 (ANI). Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the 12-day Tungabhadra Pushkaralu in Kurnool district on Friday.
An official said that Reddy arrived at Orvakal Airport in a special flight at 12.10 pm and left for Sambhal Bagh Pushkar Ghat in Kurnool for the inauguration (worship) of Tungabhadra Pushkaraalu (pilgrimage).
The Chief Minister was supposed to inaugurate Pushkharalu at 1.21 pm, but there was some delay in reaching him.
According to the pundits, Pushkharalu’s auspicious time will start after 1.21 pm on Friday, which will last till December 1.
Tungabhadra Pushkaralu is held once every 12 years.
