President Ramnath Kovind has given best wishes to the countrymen on this great festival of public faith. With this, he asked everyone to perform pooja-archana keeping in mind the guidelines related to Kovid-19 epidemic.
He said that there is a tradition on Chhath Puja that people go to rivers, ponds and other water sources to worship Lord Surya and worship nature. On the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja, let us take an oath to save nature and environment and celebrate it keeping in mind the Kovid-19 epidemic.

The President tweeted and wrote that Chhath festival inspires us to conserve nature, under which the sun is worshiped as a deity. He urged the countrymen to celebrate the festival, defending Corona.
