New Delhi, 20 November (IANS). Filmmaker Yeon Sung-ho says that he has also put emotions in the action scene of his upcoming Korean zombie thriller Peninsula, as he was confident that actor Gang Dong-win would be able to do it.

Peninsula is a sequel to the 2016 worldwide film Train to Busan. The film also stars actress Lee Jung-hyun. This sequel shows 4 years after the virus has spread to Korea. Train to Busan depicts the outbreak of the virus and a former soldier who is sent to take out a truck full of money.

Sung-ho said, “We have made only one character, whose action scene also has a lot of emotion and they are expressed with eyes.”

Talking about Lee Jung-hyun, the director said, “Jung-hyun only took the first thought in my mind for the role of Min-jung.” To this Lee said, I was very happy that what I imagined about the character, from concept to style, it matched what director Yon was thinking.

The film is being released in India by Zee Studios and Cross Pictures. It will be released on 27 November.
