Bengaluru, 21 November (IANS). Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D.K. Sivakumar has been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for questioning on 23 November.
Confirming this, Shivkumar said, “CBI investigators came to my house on November 19 with summons, but I was not at home.” They have asked me to come on November 23 at 4 pm.
Sivakumar wrote to the CBI that he would be in Basavakalyan and Muskie for campaigning that day.
He said, I have requested him whether I can appear before him for questioning on November 25 instead of November 23.
The CBI had filed an FIR against Shivkumar on 2 October, stating that he allegedly had disproportionate assets worth Rs 74.93 crore.
