Jammu, 21 November (IANS) Pakistan’s Deputy Chief of Mission has been summoned by New Delhi for a few hours after the Nagrota attack and Pakistan violated the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. An Indian soldier has been martyred in this.
Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Devendra Anand said, “An army sergeant was martyred during the ceasefire violations along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector.”
The Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan’s firing on the LoC.
Pakistan is repeatedly violating the bilateral ceasefire agreement signed by both countries in 1999. Since January 2020, more than 3,200 ceasefire violations have killed 30 civilians and injured more than 110.
On Thursday, 4 terrorists were killed near Nagrota toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, 11 AK rifles and other weapons were recovered from their possession.
Police Chief Dilbag Singh said that these militants had recently infiltrated Jammu and Kashmir through the international border in Samba sector. After which India held a high level meeting on Friday evening.
