Climate change must be fought in an integrated manner, says PM | G20 summit: PM Modi said – India is not only meeting the goals of Paris Agreement but also crossing the target

Digital Desk, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the gathering on the second day of the G20 summit regarding climate change. During this, he said that it is equally important to keep our focus on fighting climate change. Climate change should not be fought in silos but in an integrated, comprehensive and holistic manner.

PM said, India has adopted low carbon development practices. We have targeted to restore 26 million hectares of degraded land by the year 2030. We are encasing the circular economy. The PM said, India is not only meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement but also crossing the target.

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) is one of the fastest growing international organizations. ISA will contribute to reducing carbon footprint. This is the best time to increase research and innovation in new and sustainable technology. We should do so with a spirit of cooperation.

The whole world can progress rapidly if there is more support of technology and finance for the developing world. For the prosperity of humanity, every person should prosper.
